Saakashvili Says Georgia will Succeed

Georgia is destined to be successful and there is no force capable of defeating Georgia, President Saakashvili told hundreds of worshippers gathered in the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Tbilisi at an overnight Orthodox Christmas service on January 7.

?Be confident that everything will be as we want things to be? and on this day I want to commemorate those who have sacrificed their lives for their homeland and to honor those who are in the service now and ready to sacrifice for their homeland. Thanks to these people we will succeed,? Saakashvili said.

The Orthodox Christmas service in the Holy Trinity Cathedral was also attended by Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze and other officials, as well as ex-President Eduard Shevardnadze.
