Governor of Kakheti Appointed

President Saakashvili appointed Gia Natsvlishvili, an MP from the ruling National Movement party, as governor of the eastern region Kakheti, Rustavi 2 TV reported on November 25.

The position was vacant since November 10 after ex-governor of Kakheti Petre Tsiskarishvili was appointed Minister of Agriculture.
