Russian, U.S. Officials Discuss Conflicts in Georgia
The issue of Abkhaz and South Ossetian conflict resolution was discussed during talks between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried in Moscow on November 15, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The Russian side stressed the necessity for implementation of the existing agreements by the Georgian side in the process of settlement and rejecting “the course of military resolution” of conflicts by Tbilisi, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
