Opposition Wants Ministers to Brief MPs over Tensions with Russia
MP Davit Gamkrelidze, the leader of opposition New Rights party, said on October 23 that cabinet members should be convened in Parliament to brief the legislative body about threats posed by the current tensions with Russia.
Speaking at the Parliamentary Bureau session – a body uniting senior MPs that outlines the schedule of the legislative body ? MP Gamkrelidze said that the Foreign, Defense and Economy Ministers and the State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues should be convened.
