Abkhazia Stages Military Maneuvers

Military exercises with the participation of 2 000 troops were launched in breakaway Abkhazia on October 23, Abkhaz news agency Apsnipress reported.

Anatoly Zaitsev, Deputy Defense Minister of the breakaway region, told Apsnipress that mobilization of reserve troops will be featured during the first day of exercises. The location of the maneuvers was not reported.
