Russian Survey Says Majority Approves Moscow’s Sanctions
40% of respondents surveyed in Russia said measures undertaken by the Russian authorities against Georgia and its citizens are “adequate and effective,” a public opinion survey carried out by the Russian state-run All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) says.
27% of respondents consider the current measures as “not adequate” and only 13% think that measures are exaggerated, according to the VCIOM.
This state-run public opinion research group carried out the survey on October 14-15 among 1 600 respondents in 46 different districts throughout Russia.
