Georgian, Russian Deputy Foreign Ministers Meet in Moscow
Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Merab Antadze met with his Russian counterpart Andrei Denisov in Moscow to discuss bilateral relations, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on July 19.
The Russian side stressed that Tbilisi?s actions in the South Ossetian conflict zone create an unfavorable background for the Russo-Georgian relations, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
?We called on the Georgian side to take more constructive and realistic position that will allow finding the ways for resolution of the problems existing between the two countries.?
Earlier on July 19 the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported that the visit aimed at preparing the talks between the Georgian and Russian Presidents, which are expected to take place in Moscow on the sideline of an informal summit of the CIS leaders on July 21-22.
