Putin, Bush Discuss Conflicts
Russian President Vladimir Putin said after talks with his U.S. counterpart George W. Bush on July 15 that ?conflicts in [Russia?s] neighboring countries? were also on the agenda of discussion during the meeting.
Speaking at a joint news conference with the U.S President, Putin did not elaborate further on this issue.
The U.S. and Russian leaders met in St. Petersburg on the eve of a summit of G8 leaders.
