Reports: President May Sack Cabinet

President Saakashvili may announce about the cabinet reshuffle at a news conference later on July 11, Rustavi 2 television reported on Tuesday.

InterPressNews agency reported earlier on July 11 quoting an influential parliamentarian from the ruling National Movement party Giga Bokeria who said that cabinet change is not ruled out.

The opposition has recently mount pressure on President Saakashvili to sack Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili, but key governmental officials announced on July 7 that Merabishvili?s resignation was not on agenda.
