Burjanadze May Run for OSCE PA Presidency
A Georgian delegation led by Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze left for Brussels to participate in an annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly on July 3-7.
At the session Nino Burjanadze, who is currently the Vice-President of the OSCE PA, may run for the Parliamentary Assembly?s President. But final decision will largely depend on a fate of a draft resolution on Enhancing the Role and Increasing Efficiency of the OSCE PA, which is initiated by Nino Burjanadze.
Burjanadze is most likely to run for the presidency if this draft resolution is passed by the Parliamentary Assembly.
