Ivanov Warns of Provocations in S.Ossetia

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Ivanov warned on June 2 that provocations are being planned against the Russian peacekeeping troops in the South Ossetian conflict zone, Interfax news agency reported.

“Anything is possible at anytime there,” Ivanov said.

He also said that the Russian peacekeepers will remain in the South Ossetian conflict zone as long as relevant political agreements are in force.
