Georgian MoD Reports Air Space Violated

A military helicopter violated Georgian airspace over breakaway South Ossetia on May 25, the Georgian Ministry of Defense (MoD) reported.

According to the MoD the helicopter flew over Java district of breakaway region.
 
“Any kind of flight within the Georgian air space must be agreed with the administration of the Georgian Civil Aviation, Central Air Communication Service and Georgian Air Navigation in advance… It should be noted that the international air route lies over the region and these kinds of uncoordinated flights may cause grave consequences,” a statement issued by the Georgian Defense Ministry on May 25 reads.
