South Ossetian Leader Meets EU Envoy

South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity held talks with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby in Tskhinvali on May 23, the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee reported.
 
During the talks Eduard Kokoity condemned Tbilisi’s “attempts to triggering destabilization” in the conflict zone, as well as for its military rhetoric. 
 
The EU envoy planned to meet with Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze later on May 23 in Tbilisi.
