U.S. Firms Look into Georgia’s Agriculture Sector
Representatives of 15 U.S. companies visited Georgia on May 15-19 in an attempt to promote trade and investment in various agricultural fields, the American Chamber of Commerce in Tbilisi reported on May 19.
The trade and investment mission was sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) and was led by Kirk Miller, the General Sales Manager of the FAS.
During the visit the mission met with about 100 representatives of the Georgian business. Some of the companies were able to establish business links with their potential partners in Georgia, according to the AmCham.
