Tbilisi Sets up Working Group over S.Ossetia Peace Program
The Georgian side assembled a ten-member group in frames of the Joint Control Commission (JCC), which along with South Ossetian, North Ossetian and Russian sides will develop a joint program on South Ossetian conflict resolution.
The members of the group are: Giorgi Volsky, Deputy Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues; Giorgi Bestavashvili, chief adviser of the Georgian President’s Administration; Giorgi Guliashvili, from the Interior Ministry’s Counter Intelligence Department; Gela Zoziashvili, Deputy Governor of the Shida Kartli region; Aleko Kiknadze, chief of the Defense Ministry’s Training Center; Davit Nardaia, Chief of the Defense Ministry’s International Relations Department; Giorgi Kublashvili, the Foreign Minister’s aide; Giorgi Oniani, assistant to the Prime Minister; Shalva Tramakidze, deputy chief of the Shida Kartli regional police; Dimitri Sharashenidze, expert from the Government’s administration.
The group from the South Ossetian side will be led by Vice Speaker of the breakaway region’s Parliament Yuri Dzitsoiti and the Russian side will be led by secretary of the Russian co-chairman in the JCC Alexander Grachov.
