GUAM National Coordinators Meet in Kiev

A regular meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators of the GUAM member states (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova) was held in Kiev on April 25-26, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.

The Georgian delegation was led by First Deputy Foreign Minister Valeri Chechelashvili.

The Ukrainian side informed the Committee of National Coordinators of the ongoing  preparations for an upcoming summit of GUAM leaders, scheduled for May 23 in Kiev. The sides expressed their opinions regarding the format and content of the forthcoming summit.

The participants decided to hold joint meetings of working groups in the fields of economy, energy, customs and transport in Kiev on May 10-11.

The next meeting of the GUAM Committee of National Coordinators will be held in Kiev on May 20.
