Burjanadze Visits Russia

Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze will leave for St. Petersburg late on April 26 to participate in the celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the Russian State Duma, the lower house of the Parliament.
 
According to the Parliament’s press office, Nino Burjanadze will hold talks with her Russian counterpart Boris Grizlov and the chairmen of the parliamentary committees.
 
Burjanadze plans to push issues related with Russia’s ban on the import of Georgian wine during her talks with the Russian parliamentarians.

Before departing for Russia the Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson met with Russian Ambassador to Georgia Vladimir Chkhikvishvili.
