Bokeria Elected Vice President of PACE

On April 10 the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) elected Giga Bokeria, an influential MP from the ruling National Movement Party and head of the Georgian delegation to the Council of Europe, as its Vice President.  

The Georgian delegation is participating in PACE’s spring session in Strasbourg on April 10-13, during which a draft resolution on refugees and displaced persons in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia is under discussion.
