PM: Georgian Wine will Return to Russian Market
Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli said on April 4 that Georgian wine, the import of which was banned by Russia on March 27, “will return to the Russian market, by all means.”
“We will return to the Russian market. We will also gain access to other markets and have a successful grape harvest,” the Prime Minister said.
Nogaideli said that Georgia wants to organize a exhibition of its wines in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Earlier on April 4 Georgian wine producers met with Russian Ambassador to Georgia Vladimir Chkhikvishvili to discuss the situation surrounding Russian’s ban on the import of Georgian wine.
