JCC Fails to Discuss Tbilisi’s Peace Plan on South Ossetia

Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Khaindrava said that during a session of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) in Vladikavkaz on March 27-28 that the sides have failed to discuss Tbilisi’s peace plan over South Ossetia, RIA Novosti news agency reported.

“However, the main result of the session is that the sides managed to shift the process out of a deadlock,” Khaindrava said on March 28.

He also said that the sides agreed to hold the next session of the JCC in the breakaway South Ossetian capital Tskhinvali in April.
