U.S. Assistant Secretary to Visit Georgia

U.S. Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried will visit Georgia on March 14-15 as a part of his tour to three Caucasus states and Turkey, the U.S. Embassy to Georgia reported.

Daniel Fried, who will be accompanied by Senior Advisor for Eurasia Steven Mann, will meet Georgian top officials to discuss U.S. support for Georgia’s democratic reforms, the peaceful resolution of separatist conflicts in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and Georgia’s relations with  Euro-Atlantic institutions.
