U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary Visits Georgia

Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Matt Bryza visits Tbilisi to participate in a Strategy Session on the Future of the Community for Democratic Choice on March 9-10.

Talks with President Saakashvili, Prime Minister Noghaideli and Parliamentary Chairperson Burjanadze are planned during the visit.

Matt Bryza will “discuss U.S. support for Georgia’s democratization, the peaceful resolution of separatist conflicts in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations,” the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi reported.
