Defense Minister Meets NATO Experts over IPAP

Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili and visiting group of experts from NATO discussed on March 8 a process of implementation of reform targets set by the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) with NATO, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported.

A group of experts arrived in Georgia on March 6 to assess implementation of IPAP by Georgia.

“Representatives of NATO have positively evaluated reforms carried out in the Ministry of Defense [MoD] in 2005,” the MoD’s press statement reads.

According to the Georgian MoD, discussion of reforms in frames of IPAP will take place in NATO headquarters in April.
