Abkhazia Holds Air Force Maneuvers

Exercises by the Abkhaz air forces, featuring the participation of air defense systems, were launched on February 23, the Abkhaz news agency Apsnypress reported.

According to the unrecognized republic’s Defense Ministry, the scenarios of exercises include “repelling an enemy’s air attacks.” No other details were reported.
 
The breakaway region held staff and command exercises on February 20-21.
