Georgian PM, U.S. Envoy Discuss S.Ossetia

Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli and U.S. Ambassador to Georgia John Tefft discussed the situation in the South Ossetian conflict zone during a meeting on February 23, the Georgian PM’s press office reported.

The U.S. diplomat hailed Tbilisi’s decision to launch measures aimed at demilitarization of the conflict zone, according to this report.

The U.S. Ambassador also discussed the upcoming visit by the Georgian PM to the United States.
