MFA: Russian Su-25 Jets Violates Georgian Airspace

Two Su-25 Frogfoot jets from the Russian Air Force violated the Georgian airspace on February 21,west of the Kazbegi district – a northern mountainous region of the country – the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.

A press statement by the Foreign Ministry also says that a Mi-8 military helicopter also flew over the Georgian military base in Senaki, in western Georgia.

“The Georgian Foreign Ministry assesses this violation of the Georgian airspace and provocative flights of the Russian militaries as a violation of the country’s sovereignty,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry stated.
