Earthquake Hits Western Georgia

An earthquake, which measured about 5.1 magnitude on the Richter scale, struck Georgia’s western mountainous region of Racha early on Monday.

The quake left cracks in some buildings, but no casualties or major damage have been reported.

A smaller earthquake was also registered in the capital city Tbilisi.
