Russian Official: Restoration of Pipeline will Finish Today

Restoration of the main gas pipeline in North Ossetia will be over ?by the end of this day,? the Interfax news agency quoted Dmitri Kozak, Russian President Vladimir Putin?s envoy to the Southern Federal District, as saying on January 23.

But it is not clear from this report when the gas supply will be restored through this pipeline.

Kozak refrained from making any comments about the investigation into the explosion of these pipelines.

?Making hasty conclusions before the end of an investigation, as some people – including the leaders of our neighboring country – do is, at the very least, incorrect,? the Russian official said.
