Reports: Man Kidnapped in Gali

Valeri Gabisonia, a resident of the village of Nabakevi in the breakaway Abkhazia?s Gali district, was kidnapped by a group of unknown armed man, Georgian media sources reported on January 15.

Reports say that the kidnappers have already demanded a USD 50,000 ransom.
