One Killed in Abkhaz Conflict Zone

Genadi Parulava, an ethnic Georgian, was killed after an attack by unknown gunmen in the village of Saberio in the Gali district of breakaway Abkhazia on January 13, Georgian media sources reported.

The motives behind this incident remain unclear. Parulava, 32, was an employee of the Enguri hydro power plant in the conflict zone.
