Putin, Saakashvili Hold Phone Talks

President Saakashvili held phone talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on December 22, both the Georgian and Russian President?s press offices reported.

According to the Russian President?s press office, the phone conversation was held under the initiative of President Saakashvili.

The two Presidents discussed economic cooperation between Georgia and Russia, the Georgian President?s press office reported.
