Reports: New Ministry to Coordinate Regional Policy

The Georgian government plans to set up a new ministry which will deal with issues related to regional policy, local self-governance and territorial arrangements following the passing of a new law on local self-governance by the Parliament.

Although officials have confirmed the report, they declined to reveal any futher details, citing that the plan is still being elaborated.
