MP Becomes Governor of Guria
President Saakashvili said on October 14 that he will appoint Aleko Tsintsadze, a parliamentarian from the ruling National Movement party, new Governor of a western Georgian region of Guria.
The position has been vacant since May, when former governer Bezhan Kalandadze died on in a car accident.
