U.S. Ambassador, State Minister Discuss Conflicts

Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Khaindrava held talks with U.S. Ambassador to Georgia John Tefft on September 20.

The current situation in the South Ossetian and the Abkhaz conflict zones and the issue of a peaceful resolution to these conflicts were discussed during the talks.

John Tefft told reporters after the meeting that the United States supports the territorial integrity of Georgia and is ready to assist the Georgian government in peacefully resolving these conflicts.
