Tbilisi City Council Names Street after U.S. President Bush

The Tbilisi City Council voted on September 14 to rename one of the streets in the Isani-Samgori district of the capital city in honor of U.S. President George W. Bush. 

The initiative, which was put forth by Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava, gained a majority despite opposition lawmakers voting against the decision.
