Opposition Parties Form Election Commission for Primaries
On August 8 four opposition parties ? the New Rights, the Conservatives, the Freedom Party and the Laborists set up an election commission to administer the primaries that will determine the united opposition candidates running in the October 1 by-elections for five vacant majoritarian seats in Parliament.
Each of the parties have two representatives in the 8-member commission. The first session of the commission is scheduled for August 10 to register nominees.
