Tbilisi Blacked Out

Most of the eastern part of Georgia, including the capital city Tbilisi, was blacked out on July 5 for the second time in the past two days because the damaged high-voltage power line ?Imereti.? The power supply was partially restored after an hour.


Energy Minister Nika Gilauri said that the bad weather conditions caused the damage to the power line. The eastern part of the country was also blacked out on July 4 for the same reason.
