CoE to Discuss Opposition’s Rights in Georgia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan
Chairman of the Russian Parliament’s lower house Committee for Foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachev, who also leads the Russian delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE), told Interfax on June 20 that the PACE Bureau will discuss the facts of opposition’s persecution in the post-revolutionary countries, including Ukraine, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.
The summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will take place in Strasbourg on June 20-24. The Georgian parliamentary delegation has already left for Strasbourg to attend the session.
