Russian Chief of Peacekeeping Operations Visits S.Ossetia

General-Lieutenant Valery Yevnevich, Deputy Commander of the Russian Land Forces in charge of Russian peacekeeping operations, who is visiting the South Ossetian conflict zone, met with President of unrecognized republic Eduard Kokoity on June 15, the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee reported.

During this meeting, Eduard Kokoity reiterated the South Ossetian leadership?s commitment to solve all disputed issues solely through peaceful means.
