Adjara Marks Anniversary of Peaceful Revolution

Respresentatives of the Georgian leadership, including President Saakashvili and Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli, will travel to the Adjara Autonomous Republic on May 6 to participate in celebrations marking the one year anniversary of the peaceful ouster of Adjara?s ex-Leader Aslan Abashidze last May.

A governmental session, chaired by the President is scheduled to be held in Adjara as well.
