Experts, Officials Discuss Border Security Development

A two-day conference was opened in Tbilisi on April 11 to outline a development concept for the Georgian border guard service.

Experts and officials from the border guard services of Georgia, Germany, Austria, Finland, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Estonia and the Czech Republic are participating in the conference, sponsored by the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).

Participants of the conference also plan to visit Georgia?s border with Russia.
