GUUAM Officials Prepare Leaders’ Summit

An extraordinary meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators of GUUAM member sates – Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Moldova, was held in Chisinau on April 4 to prepare an upcoming summit of GUUAM leaders, scheduled for April 22 in Chisinau, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday.

Representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine attended the meeting, while a representative of Uzbekistan was granted observer status to participate. Delegations from the US, Hungary and Bulgaria also took part in this meeting, participating with observer status.

The next meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators will also be held in the Moldovan capital on April 19.
