EU Envoy Visits Tskhinvali

Heikki Talvitie, the European Union?s Special Representatives to the South Caucasus, who is visiting Georgia from April 5, will arrive in Tskhinvali on April 6 to hold talks with the de facto authorities of breakaway South Ossetia.

The EU envoy said, the conflict resolution issue will top the agenda of the meeting. Initiatives of the Georgian Government with Respect to the Peaceful Resolution of the Conflict in South Ossetia will also be discussed.

?At the initial stage most important is to restore trust between the conflicting sides,? Heikki Talvitie told Mze television on April 5.
