Suspects Arrested in British Citizen Murder Case

On January 12, police arrested five persons who are suspected of murdering a British citizen in Tbilisi on December 2, 2004.

The British citizen was found dead of a gunshot wound in his apartment in the capital Tbilisi. No information regarding a possible motive was reported.

Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili said that the persons arrested on January 12 are also suspected of murdering two Azeri citizens in Tbilisi.
