Russian Embassy Stops Issuing Visas

Reports say that the Russian Embassy to Georgia has unexpectedly ceased issuing visas, citing Christmas and New Year holidays.


The issuing of Russian visas will be ceased from December 20 until January 10, 2005.


Georgian news agencies report quoting the Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili as saying that the Russian Embassy?s decision was a surprise for her.
