U.S. Envoy Meets Tbilisi-based Abkhaz Government Chief
U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Miles held talks with Chairman of the Tbilisi-based Abkhaz government-in-exile Irakli Alasania on December 3.
After the talks Alasania told reporters that they discussed the recent developments in breakaway Abkhazia.
?We have developed the mechanisms of interaction. Most important is that the United States and the Ambassador clearly understand the position of the Georgian authorities,? Alasania said after the talks.
