Georgian MFA Condemns Ukrainian Poll as Flawed
In a statement issued on November 27 the Georgian Foreign Ministry said that the Ukrainian presidential poll was flawed.
?Georgia is following the developments in the friendly state Ukraine with particular interest. Sharing the concerns of the European Union and authoritative international organizations (OSCE, the Council of Europe) regarding numerous grave violations during the presidential elections in Ukraine, Georgia completely joins the stance of the international community and its appeals towards the Ukrainian authorities to respect the fundamental right of each Ukrainian citizen to [participate in] free and unlimited election,? the statement reads.
The Georgian Parliament passed a statement on November 25 in which Georgian parliamentarians also condemned the Ukrainian election as rigged.
