Two Helicopters Violate Georgian Airspace
The Georgian Border Guard Department reported that two, most likely Russian combat helicopters Mi-8 (Hip) and Ka-52 (Hokum B), violated Georgian airspace on October 28 at 12:05 pm local time (10:05 CET) at the Chechen section of the Russo-Georgian border.
?The Russian helicopters remained in the Georgian airspace in the vicinity of Iukerigo and Kerigo passes for about 20 minutes and were carrying out air surveillance,? the statement, issued by the Georgian Border Guard Department reads.
