Judge Arrested for Alleged Bribe-Taking

Police arrested a judge in the town of Rustavi Jabanashvili on October 21 for suspected bribe-taking.


The General Prosecutor?s Office reported that that the judge is accused of taking USD 10,000 as a bribe.
 
On October 11 police arrested Alexandre Taliashvili, a judge at the Didube-Chugureti district court of Tbilisi, who was accused of taking USD 500 as a bribe.
