Georgian Security Officials Released in South Ossetia
On July 3, authorities in the self-style South Ossetian Republic released three Georgian security officials. The report came from Russian media sources who reported quoting spokesperson for the South Ossetian de facto government Irina Gagloyeva speaking on these matters.
The three employees from the Georgian Security Ministry have been held since their arrest in South Ossetia on June 28.
The Georgian side was refusing to participate in talks with the South Ossetian side until the release of the security officials.
However, Gagloyeva said that the release ?has nothing to do with the Georgian side?s demands.? ?It was an expression of a good will,? she added.
